Sundays For Dogs, a prominent premium dog food brand, embarked on a transformative journey to deepen the connection between pet owners and their furry companions. At the helm of this mission, I undertook a six-month discovery phase to address critical challenges and enhance the overall user experience.

The primary challenge centered around user retention and onboarding drop-off rates. While Sundays For Dogs boasted high-quality dog food products, the initial user journey needed refinement. Users were disengaging during the onboarding quiz, a crucial point of interaction. This resulted in missed opportunities to establish enduring connections between pet owners and their beloved dogs.

Process

Our journey with Sundays For Dogs embarked on a six-month discovery phase, where we delved deep into understanding user behavior and pain points. The focus was twofold: first, to analyze user interactions during the onboarding quiz and identify friction points; second, to refine the brand implementation to fit seamlessly within the existing design system. In collaboration with the Sundays For Dogs team, we devised various redesign options to enhance user engagement and retention.
